The Leadership Skills Workshop are specifically focused on improving leadership skills, whilst evaluating various authoritative styles and each of their strengths and weaknesses. Communication is an attribute that is essential to exceptional leadership, especially between staff in a professional environment. These training courses are targeted towards those who are moving into, or already in, a leadership role, especially Team Leaders, Shift Leaders, Shift Managers, and Duty Managers. There are 6 main leadership styles, coercive, pace-setting, authoritative, affiliative, democratic, and coaching. In order to because a successful leader, one must evaluate each of these styles, develop traits from each of these styles, and then have the ability to appropriately apply these when necessary. These courses shall progress onto numerous factors that influence a manager’s performance, such as effective communication, change management, organisational culture, field-force analysis, and working with troublesome people or situations. Personal reflection of the delegate’s own leadership style shall be addressed, in order to identify areas of strengths and areas that may be improved.
